“Recently, while out for a walk, I tripped and face planted, creating a jagged tear below my lip. I considered visiting an urgent care facility as I didn’t know a plastic surgeon. My sister recommended I call Associated Plastic Surgeons and see if they could help. I phoned them and immediately felt care and concern for my situation, and was asked if I could send over a few pictures to see if they could help. They graciously found a way to squeeze me in with Dr. Jacob Smith (I honestly think he used his lunch break to see me) to assess and stitch me up. I was very nervous, but Dr. Smith and his team quickly put me at ease. Before I knew it, I had 7 perfect stitches in my lip area and was on my way to healing. Dr. Smith was not only kind and quick, but he also explained the process beautifully, and he chatted with me in away that helped me relax. A few days later, my stitches were removed with the same professionalism. You honestly can’t tell I’ve recently had an accident. My experience with the office and Dr. Smith greatly exceeded expectations. I’m so grateful I called them in my moment of distress and now have friends in the “industry” for the future.
